Fair play measures will be in place for the tournament in accordance with the FIDE Fair Play Regulations
Rate of Play: 40 moves in 90 minutes, followed by 30 minutes to finish the games. There is a 30 second increment from move 1.
Late Arrivals: In all rounds, late arrivals will be allowed 1 hour and then defaulted.

Pairings and Results: These will be published on chess-results.com
Conditions: A limited number of conditions for titled players will be available. Apply in confidence to Kevin Staveley.
Days with Double Rounds: The pairing for afternoon rounds will be published as soon as possible.
Any player involved in a morning game which progresses past 16:00 may request a 1 hour break from the start of the afternoon round. This request must be made immediately on conclusion of the morning game at the latest.
Byes: (Available to all players not receiving conditions)
A maximum of two ½ point byes may be claimed in the first seven rounds.
Byes in rounds 1 or 2 must be requested by Monday, 4th July 2023
Ratings: The July 2023 FIDE List will be used. Where a player does not have a FIDE Rating the latest published national rating will be used
Exclusions: The organisers reserve the right to refuse entries without giving a reason
Withdrawals: If a player withdraws before the 14th June 2023, half the entry fee will be returned or the entry can be transferred to the 2024 event.
