Due to the poor weather, and only slight signs of improvement over the next 24 hours, the event for Secondary School Chess players that was due to be held on 3 March has been cancelled. A date for the event in the summer term will be announced shortly.

The dates for 2018 Glorney Gilbert Tournament have now been finalised: it will be held at the University of the West of Scotland, Paisley, from 16th to 18th of July, with travelling on the 15th and 19th.
