At the first week-end of the Welsh Junior Chess Championships, held at Chepstow School on 24-25 February, Susana Fraser and Ifan Rathbone-Jones shared the Under 14 title, Ellison Smith won the under 12s, Sridatta Dantu and Ben Jaberansari shared the under 10s and Govind Anandkumar won the under 8s. Llya Taylor won the under 10 […] Today, the Welsh Chess Union has the great pleasure to announce that Lord Greg Mostyn has agreed to become a patron of the Welsh Chess Union. We look forward to working with him and to meeting him at events around Wales. The 2018 WCU AGM will be held at Pencoed Welfare Hall on Sunday 4th March 2018 at 2pm.
