The tournament went well, with 7 rounds played on the day. There was lunch provided in the hour break.
At the end of it all, Ian Jones defended his title. Having won the tournament last year. He was tied in first place with Friedemann Brock. They played two play off games, only to win one each. At which point they agreed to split the prize, with Ian taking the trophy as well. All in all, there were 20 participants. The grading ranged from 2240 to 1200.
