At the inaugural ECF National Schools’ Blitz Championships, held at The King’s School, Grantham, on Saturday 18 March, Chepstow Comprehensive took third place.
The team-of-four — George Smith, Neil Stevenson, Madeline Smith and Sam Goodfellow — netted 11.5 game points out of a possible 20, with every player contributing at least two wins. Nottingham High won the event, with Wilson’s taking second place.
