FIDE WORLD JUNIOR RAPID AND BLITZ CHESS CHAMPIONSHIPS

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
DEADLINE: 8 September 2023
These events are being held consecutively over the second week in October and Federations are entitled to enter as many qualified players as they wish. To qualify Welsh players must be:
- under 20 at 1 January 2023;
- registered with Wales in the FIDE rating list;
- a registered member of the WCU for the 23/24 season.

Qualified Welsh playing wishing to enter should e-mail Peter Bevan (internationaldirector@welshchessunion.uk) by 8 Septenber to give him time to make the WCU entries by the Organisers’ deadline, 15 September.
Players wishing to enter should note in particular that neither the Organisers nor the WCU are prepared to meet players travel or accommodation costs, or the various FIDE fees also payable. All these costs will be the personal responsibility of Welsh entrants
