Playing at home on Sat 1st of December 2018, St John emerged as the victors in this 5 round Swiss tournament.
The six teams that took part in this competition were: Dell, Rhydypennau A and B, Ysgol y Wern, St John and Broadfield primary who travelled from Swindon.
With scores tied at 8 points each St john snatched victory from Broadfield on tie break with half a game point ahead of Broadfield. Rhydypennau A took third place. It was a very tight and highly contested tournament all the way through with the final result being decided on the last match played.
The finals will take place at Uppingham on the 4th and 5th of July.
