At this year’s Quadrangular, held in Liverpool on 2-3 December, the Welsh Under 14 team won by a convincing margin. The team of Chirag Guha, Ifan Rathbone-Jones, Anton Petkov, David McIntosh, Caspian Fowler, Duncan MacDonald, Neirin Leggett, Sithika Medagedara, Neil Stevenson and Robert Goodwin netted 20.5 points out of a possible 30, 4 points more than a combined Ireland & The Midlands team.
More success came in the under 12s, with Wales coming second with 13 points, behind a very impressive Midlands outfit that amassed 23.5 points.
With several strong players declining invitations to play for the under 16s, this team struggled and finished last.
